Absolutely, American politics affects world politics and economies. How many countries do we have troops in? How many are we giving aid to? Foreigners have opinions on these things too. As for Americans knowing best what is going on in their country as Officer J brought up, I disagree. Many foreigners actually follow American politics unlike most Americans. Ask 10 adult Americans who their senator is, who are the leading presidential hopefuls, ask about a recent bill in the legislature. Most don't know and sadly don't care.

I've often wondered this too. You see all those little flags at the bottom? They're there for a reason. I don't go into the UK area and bash their PM, insult the queen, or give opinions on who I think they should vote for. So, I'm not sure why so many from various countries are doing so here. It's not like our policies directly affect their way of life.
That being said, America is still a free country to natives and tourists alike. They can give their two cents, but their opinions are worth less than that.

I think it is fine.
Although, I don't like some of the "America Haters," it gives me an opportunity to set the record straight so to speak.
I enjoy many posts from around the world. And sometimes have opinions on world affairs myself, which I post on.
In keeping with the golden rule: I'd not take it away from them, as I'd not like it being taken from me.
I do like knowing where they are from, as it gives an insight into what their media is feeding their nation.

Why not?
In solving the misery of living human kind with " He's ain't heavy He's my brother" in faraway land.
Not even worth two cents but FOC.
And pay your own internet bills.

If idiots within America can I can't see what's wrong with letting intelligent people outside speak. Aren't we supposed to value freedom of speech - or is that just for us Americans?

It's called free speech. We can handle it. We always have. Good way to show the few that still don't have it what is possible.
Sometimes the war of ideas is won by letting people show their true colors, in front of everyone.

The typical hypocrisy. So Americans are allowed to invade other countries, build military bases all over the world, our music and culture can be found in different countries, but foreigners aren't allowed to talk about our politics when it does concerns them?

Since we at least know where the United States of America is located on a map, and only a few Americans have a clue what the rest off the world looks like, I think so...
And not to mention your "war on terror" that have increased the activity off the C.I.A worldwide..... And you are working harder than ever to influence governments in every country of the world to think like you... To quote your own president "You are eighter with us, or with the terrorist" What kind of statement is that if not a world war declaration?
Besides from that, I can only add that alot of the people living in America have family and friends living in other countries around the world. Is it that weird that we are keeping an eye on you guys?

Sure. But who the hell cares what their two-cents might be.
That's twice what it's worth.
