There are plenty of somebodies who are willing to walk with u and that too quitely....so as to just hold u if u fall...jst to encourage u if u fail.. jst to see if u are safe...jst to let u knw that they are always there for u.
There is always a healing hand for every hurted heart.

WOW! Lots of negativity in here! I'll try to do better than that.
Sometimes, people don't appreciate just being quiet and appreciating the silence because they cannot deal with what's going on in their own heads, so they babble. I find that rather annoying myself!
If you are more of a listener, people may assume you are "snobby" when you are naturally quiet. Try reaching out more to make friends, and then explaining why you like to walk in silence so they can understand you better. Break the ice and pretty soon, you'll find a walking buddy who enjoys the silence as much as you do.
Just be sure to include at least a little talk time so your
walking buddy doesn't feel like they're being ignored.

Hey, if I can go birdwatching and NOT have to talk to someone, count me in. Then if by some strange miracle you actually get into birdwatching yourself, you won't want anyone to walk with you. It's always the other person that scares away the bird just as your binoculars are blocking your vision....

I know how you feel...I use to walk around a lake (4 miles around) but one day a girl was attacked so I couldn't go alone anymore! NO ONE would walk with me, so I had to stop going there...
Before that happened, I would convince someone to walk with me and they would say, "This is really nice, I want to do it again." ...But they never would...
I think it's hard for people to commit to routine exercise....
I guess if you want to be alone and not talk, you'll have to go it alone....Sad but true!

Do you have any weird hobbies, like, I don't know, weird things that others may be uncomfortable with?
Normally the freakier you are the easier it to make friends, although your friends will be freaks as well.
If you are very nice, It might take some looking around to find a friend with viewpoints more like yours, but it will be worth it.

I will walk with you, I will walk as far as you are willing, walking in silence is so beautiful as I'm sure you are, walking alone will not suffice, while walking side by side will be just right.

I would if I knew you. Unless you were mean, in which case you'd deserve to sit in your room alone. Unfortunately it seems as if its the mean people who have friends and the nice ones who don't, even though that makes no sense whatsoever.

they must not know you all that well, or they're not mind readers. some people might find a quiet walk uncomfortable, so they talk.

Be independent and walk by yourself! Perhaps no one wants to walk with you is because you constantly rely on others -- even for an answer to a simple question like this!

I'll walk with you. Silence is good and gives you time to think, and with the fresh air it can be very nice :D
