Coming from Oregon I know lots of types of rain. There is one kind of rain that doesn't get you wet, but it never really goes away. Its kind of like the Chinese water torture.

Well it's definatly that type of rain today, because I'd definatly get wet if I wen't outside. Hasn't stoped all night, and I've heard it's going to last till Thursday.

Well its was raining yesterday and it was kinda showery, big drops. Didnt need a brolly to go from car park to pub. But if it had been the really misty, fine stuff I'd have got soaked!! So there!! Lol!!!

the types of rain that really gets you wet is the rain that pours water but the rains that will not get you wet is the rain of snow, rain of fire, rain of arrows and rain of stone.

When you walk you will get more wet than when you are run, main reason is that you will stay in rain more time . if the walk time is equal to the run time ,there will be small deference due to area of the body affected by rain ,it will be more when you run

I'm guessing in some rain (old wives tale) you can dodge the rain drops and in others you can't.

no some rains are drizzles
but some have really big drops and you get totally wet instantly

What they mean is the misty rain ... you don't realise its raining until you're really wet.

hmm.. never heard that. Well I guess there's the "drizzles/sprinkles", you dont really need an umbrella for those...then there's the "showers" that soak you, Then there are the rainSTORMS that drench you in water.
