My little nephew wanted a computer but I don't have the cash to just buy him somthing when he wants it.I heard that companies just throw out old out of date computers but wasnt sure any help?

There really isn't any sites that offer people free computer most of them are just scams or such. But there are some sites that are contest that have computers as a prize but I would research more into who is the host of that contest.

Check out the local Salvation Army, Goodwill or the recycling Depot. I live in Canada and the tin recyclers have begun to take old computers.

You won't find any. Your best bet for an extremely cheap computer is to find out if the local school system is selling pallets of somewhat older PCs and related stuff that you can get for next to nothing.
