It can not be worse than today, for sure. Change is good, that is one of the biggest problems about Republicans and Conservatives, they get stock on old old ideas. Our world is changing very fast, and getting stock on some of old traditions, stops or slows progress.
It is a very good idea to have a woman President. Hilary Clinton is very smart, she Will do good for Americans, the 75% Majority Tax contributors that is. Insted of the big fat CORPs. and very wealty, they don't need it any way, they will have enogh fat reserve to start hybernating, celebating 8 years of free ride and ripping of litle peoplel. And violataing all the laws and regulations. Thanking the Man, who they elected for 2 terms. The man who loyaly served them for 8 years.
Best Regards.

It's a split majority. Remember, there are technically 49 Democrats & 49 Republicans in the Senate, and two (very different) wild card votes, which just happen to caucus with the Democrats.
Many things that the Senate votes on needs a 60 vote majority. It's similar with the House (except obviously more than 60 votes). These are virtually unachievable numbers with the current Congress. Republicans would have the same problem if they were in the same situation as the Democrats; it may be annoying, but this is how it works.

The reason the levels are so low is because people don't know who's in Congress.
Only 1 in 4 Americans know who Nancy Pelosi is. And it's only 1 in 7 who knows who Reid is. How can you approve of someone if you don't even know who the hell they are???
And if you want to take that route, think of it this way; Democrats are only in the majority by 2 in the Senate, and a couple of dozen in the House. There are still Republicans in there. That's their approval rating, as well.

Democrats are a backward bunch. They really do not control the senate, if they controlled it, they would get bills passed. About all they are capable of, are non binding resolutions, and lack of confidence votes, and a pure hatred of the President. Democrats however love it when thier beloved speaker makes a treason tour, or their wanna be leader writes a book called it takes a village. They are pro abortion, yet anti war, Anti death penalty, but pro terrorist. The advocate man on boy sex, yet show disdain for tradtional families. About as backward as you can get...

The worst bunch of elected representatives in history!
The lib majority is totally inept, completely ignorant of the will of the people, arrogant, vindictive, partisan, and obsessed with power.
The just don't get it. They pass nonbinding resolutions and fail to pass a law in support of one single promise made during the last campaign. They fail to get bill after bill passed. Their approval rating keeps dropping. All of this and they persist on status quo, business as usual, ineffective, lame brained, infantile, political schemes poorly designed and aimed towards increasing their power.
When will they learn that their "formula for success" is a fast track to failure?

Funny how this is the only poll cons ever give any credence to. They just ignore the ones that say we are going to wipe the floor with you in the 2008 elections
http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm
http://www.pollingreport.com/cong2008.htm
Or the ones saying they approve of most Democrat policy initiatives
http://www.pollingreport.com/enviro.htm
http://www.pollingreport.com/guns.htm
http://www.pollingreport.com/health3.htm
http://www.pollingreport.com/work.htm

I suppose when you have so little to gloat about you use what you can - even if you have to constantly misinterpret or misrepresent the poll.

Well ever heard of good cop bad cop? See any similarities between the reps and dem? Dem and reps do everything right as a team, and everyone believes that they are actually competing against each other. That is a job well done on both of their parts.

If they were serious about wanting a Democrat in the oval office, they wouldn't support a female candidate much less a black candidate.
