get yourself a couple of "self learn" knitting or crocheting books and get busy. it is not hard and great treasures await your future. start with something simple like a scarf.

either that or give it to the cat.
he/she can make some pretty fancy "artwork" out of a ball of yarn also.

To make full use of the yarn. You can use it to knit a scarf. It's very easy. You can learn it through internet like me too. If not, you can use the ball of yarn for crocheting to make mobile phone pouch and many more
