Get a tile with a PEI rating of 3 or above. (PEI is a strength scale, 1 being wall tiles and 5 being tiles suitable for high traffic comercial use). You'll need a wetsaw, 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 trowel, a grout float, sponge, tile spacers, kneepads, grout, mortar, sealer, grout haze remover, and some time. It's really not that hard just time consuming. Grab a how to book at the local home improvement store. If you have any questions you can IM me too...happy to help out.

It depends on the size of the bathroom and the size of tile you are installing. Generally speaking installing tile is realativly easy, the hardest part will be cutting the tile without cracking it. As far as the tools there are not many needed what you will need to do is measure the area you will be doing, and visit your local hardware store where they can help you figure the amount of tile and other items needed to complete the job, most hardware stores will have brochures to help you complete the project.

Ceramic tile is a lot harder to work with than linoleum or vinyl tiles. A reputable store will assist you and answer all your questions about installation when you've picked the tile you want. Take accurate measurements now.

Are you speaking about vinyl or ceramic tile? if it's ceramic go to Home Depot and ask about there floor tile classes. It's best to learn from the experts. They have a full class line up of all tile classes. You'll need various tools and equipment that I just cannot put all of it down here. You'll have to rent some equipment for ceramic tile, others for vinyl, etc. it's best to see them at Home Depot.

It depends on the look your going for... there is a way to cheat around not using a wet saw... if your installing small mosaic tiles such as this

you can use a tool called tile nippers which clips the tiles individually thoe its time consuing a laborous it can be done... other wise a wet saw can also be used its not entirely difficult but do your reasearch and you will be fine... but dont take my word on it here is a link to an entire page on floor tile how to's and step but step instruction

buy a wet saw, about $59.00 or borrow one. remember in flooring .you get what you pay for. yes the home stores have it for 57 cent a square ft.....but it is seconds, meaning its flawed. we are in the process of doing our bathroom now...it's kinda easy, just take your time....match your grout.thats a pain in the butt if you don't.
