Ok well there is always the chance... but I wanted to reply to some of you who answered this question. I teach Prep for Parenting classes and some of you are misguided. If you wear two condoms that lessens the effectives of the condom despite what you think.....plastic sometimes sticks to plastic and latex is a type of plastic. Thus this can cause more of chance for the condom to tear. For those of you who said that the days right before her period are not the fertile time you are also misguided..... A period takes place to expel the unfertilized egg. There is a 3 to 4 day optima window right before the period and then when the egg has not been fertilized and implanted in the uterus then it is expelled via period. A woman can get pregnant at any time during the month....all kinds of variables can change a woman's cycle and that is why the calendar or rhythm method is not always reliable. So again there is always the chance..... Abstinence is the only 100% sure way to prevent pregnancy but if that is not your choice then by all means use a condom and birth control pills or patches. Take care and watch out that you don't get something worse then an 18 year condition called a baby...... If you know what I mean!!!!!

While most women are done ovulating (as in the egg is gone, have to wait for next month) well before the day before their period, there's still a chance that she could be pregnant. The morning after pill, Plan B, is 89% effective at preventing pregnancy- Meaning there is still an 11% chance she could wind up pregnant. If she has taken or will be taking it, it will effect her menstrual period- she may bleed heavier or lighter than usual and her period may be delayed. If after two weeks from the date she expected to have her period she still does not have it, she should take a home pregnancy test.

It depends on her cycle. You can only get pregnant when you ovulate. Ovulation happens normally about 14 days BEFORE a period starts. During ovulation, the egg is released, and if its not fertilized in 12-24 hours it dies. It breaks down over the next 2 weeks, and is expelled with the lining of the uterus in the form of a period.
If your gf is a day or so before her period then you should be safe. The exceptions are 1) If she ovulated later than she thought or has irregular cycles 2) if she miscalculated her cycle or 3) if she ovulated a second time later in her cycle (this is extremely rare).
If she takes the morning after pill it has to be within 72 hours of sex. She should take it if she can just in case. But I think you will be fine.

She has 72 hours to get the morning after pill, and if she takes that she *should* be in the clear, but that's not 100% guaranteed.
Also if it was a day or two before her period, although still possible for pregnancy, that's definitely not the most fertile time. 2 weeks from her period is when ovulation happens, but conception can still happen at any time.

Well you should be in the clear. When an egg doesnt get fertilized, it wont attatch to the urtine wall thus causing the woman to have her period. When the egg does get fertilized, it will attatch and start to grow. So if you say that your girl had her period, you should be safe. However, there is still a slight chance that there is still seman up there, as seman will live for about 48 hours, however it takes about 4 to 5 days AFTER her cycle, for the body to release another egg. Sounds to me like your are safe.

There's always a chance but I wouldn't worry too much if she's that close to starting her menses. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get the morning after pill. I have taken it a couple times myself. It always TEARS my stomach up but everyone reacts differently.
Oh, and NEVER wear two condoms at the same time! The friction between them makes it more likely they will both break than if you were to wear just one.

If she gets the morning-after pill, there's a very good chance that she is NOT pregnant. Nothing is 100%, but presuming she has her period on time, you're ok.

It's possible, I mean it's not the ultimate time for her to get pregnant (ovulation period), but it's still possible at any time. It doesn't matter TOO much if she has her period or not. The morning pill may help, but I don't make promises...just hope for the best!

The morning after pill is for the morning after, not 2 or 3 days later. There's a relative possibility that she is pregnant. There's also the possibility that she isn't. In either case, I hope for future reference, you probably shouldn't rely on just one method of birth control since none of them are 100%.

If it was a couple of days before her period she is less likely to be fertile & The Morning After is a very good contraceptive.
