is any better local ansesthetic in form of power or cream(oiniment) are there which can easyly aviailable on medical shop..
ansesthetic must have long lasting effect

There is no long acting local anaesthetic cream.

You can get Xylocaine Gel without a prescription. It works well but only on the very surface of the skin.

Emla cream is available on prescription. It's costs quiet a lot but works very, very well. We use it on kids for IV's.

That's all there is from the chemist for topical (skin) application.

I don't know of anything over-the-counter which works very well. Ambesol works on mouth sores and such. Bactine spray helps a little, not great. An ice pack helps.

I have a bad back and was surprised that the creme products with the aspirin base work.
