The dapple willow (Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki') is a small to medium sized shrub that needs full sun and moist to wet (not waterlogged or saturated) soil. Seems to grow well in USDA zones 4a to 9b (don't know where you are).

The flowers are inconspicuous, but the foliage and form is striking. Plant this well-mannered willow in a location where it will serve as a garden focal point. I hear it goes well with properly-scaled ornamental grasses, sedums, russian sage, and black lace elderberry.
