ok i have been wondering is it like TRUE LOVE?? and ppl at skool are always acting like gays are rapists or something??is that true also?? i just wanted to know but dont know who to ask so i thought who better to ask then a gay right?

um about the rapist thing..it comes up at skool mainly cuz of michael jackson...and pedafiles and the church scandal....

Gays are most certaintly not like rapists. The whole LGBT community cannot be grouped by one person.
Secondly... yes LGBT's are capable of true love. We are just like everyone else in that respect. Our relationships are basically the same as a heterosexual relationships.... some cheat, some lie, some have committment problems, some have communication problems, some truly fall in love, while others fall in love once a week... its just the same . :-)
However, I am a lesbian and I am in love with my fiance. We are living together and VERY happy! :-) Love is absolutely amazing!

yes TRUE LOVE... statistically the percentage of rapists are traditionally hetero males... so no I think the rate of "gay rapists" is very low. ("ppl at skool" just probably are not enlightened enough about gay culture yet so they might presume many wrong ideas about gays in general.)
Just do you know, some gay people love each other enough to stay living together for 9 years (some people even longer than that!)

Yeah we do. And I'd bet sometimes moreso than hetero couples, because they have to fight harder for their love....they can't do the 55-hour marriage BS that makes marriage so "sacred" in our society. Love is love. My relationship with my partner, though not officially "marriage" ('cause it's not legal yet) is just like the relationship I see with hetero couples. We fight about the same stuff, have opinions about political and religious issues, we have a family with her two kids and we stress over parenting issues like grades and discipline and what they're watching on TV, etc. It's no different, no matter what an anti-homosexual person thinks. I know. I'm there. :)

Pedophiles are primarily Heterosexual, White males, usually married.
Hate to break the news but all the media hype is just that...hype.
I'm really sick of hearing the correlation between gays and pedophiles because it's simply not true.
Also, just because a pedophile's victims may be of the same gender...that does not make him gay. It's complicated, but sexual orientation refers to an ADULT sexual orientation...meaning what gender ADULT a person is attracted to.
John Wayne Gacy, for example. Raped and murdered what experts think, up to 33 adolescent and teenage boys. But...by all standards he was NOT gay. He had been married twice and had only ever had ADULT Sexual attractions to ADULT FEMALES.
Rape and Pedophlia are NOT about sexual attraction. They're about power. There's nothing romantic or loving about it.
As far as homosexuals being in love...heck yes! We're human beings too and we have emotions just like anyone else.
I have been with my partner for over ten years...and let me tell you...staying together that long...it HAS to be love!

Yes, a person who is gay is perfectly capable of really loving someone else. And no being gay does not make you a rapist, in fact most rapists are heterosexual.

2. yes it is true love. it doesnt have anything to do with lust-its the personality and certain traits of that particular gender which is what makes us attracted to the same sex. dont let the kids at school tell you anything because they couldint possibly know if they're that homophobic.

ppl at school talk...actually, everyone talks its ppls way of making themselves feel better by bringing others down. you cant help who you fall in love with so of course they rlly love eachother... just because youre gay doesnt mean you dont have feelings...gay ppl are human too you know

If people treat gays differently because they are gay, then they aren't too intelligent. The only difference is their sexuality and it doesn't affect my personal life at all if someone is gay. I do believe gays can feel love just as much as straight people can.
