I am wanting to move to St.thomas in the us virgin islands , i am married and have a son that is 4. We currently live in houston texas. I have lived in singapore when i was younger so it is not that crazy of a thought for me. My husband is a fine dining restraunt manager, and i am a stay at home mom.
My family and I have been to St.thomas and many other carribean islands and have a real passion for the life style and beauty of these places. I know about the culture "island time" and that some islanders dont really like people from the main land...is that everyone , or just those with a bad additude.?
Does anyone have any suggestions, or anyone live there who can give me some advice.....
hey my thought is, there are so many wonderful places in this world and my husband makes his living in a career that he can do anywhere, so why just stay in one place...

hey guys thanks so much for your comments...i do want to make clear that i have the upmost respect for the people of the carribean because you were actully lucky enough to be born into such beauty. I was not. I think the cultcure like any other will have its good and its bad. I want to experince those things, all of it and i am very humble and could only hope to be welcome...thank you again!
