I felt like an adult the day I got my driver's license, so 16. But now, at 21, there are days that I feel so far from being an adult.

i have not yet and if all oes according to plan, I will not ever. As kids we get bored with childhood and are in such a hurry to grow up. Then, we spend the rest of our lives wishing we were kids again. It's a sad Catch-22 which I am trying desperately to avoid.

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. May your rivers flow without end, meandering through pastoral valleys tinkling with bells, past temples and castles and poets towers into a dark primeval forest where tigers belch and monkeys howl, through miasmal and mysterious swamps and down into a desert of red rock, blue mesas, domes and pinnacles and grottos of endless stone, and down again into a deep vast ancient unknown chasm where bars of sunlight blaze on profiled cliffs, where deer walk across the white sand beaches, where storms come and go as lightning clangs upon the high crags, where something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you --- beyond that next turning of the canyon walls."- Edward Abbey

"There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it"-- Mary W Little

"The human race has only one effective weapon --and that is laughter."

Mark Twain

"We don't stop playing because we turn old, but turn old because we stop playing"

Satchel Paige

lol... honestly I still don't feel like an adult... and I'm 25.

But when I was 15, I was very convinced that if I were thrown into the adult world, I would do just fine. Mainly because I was sooooo ready to be out from underneath my mother's thumb. Ahhh, to be young and debt-free again....
