Or that other people are just robots or obstacles that God forces you to deal with to test you? Yeah, I know it sounds pretty stupid and narcissistic for me to think that, but I'm like, then why am I trapped in this random body all of the time? What if I really AM the only real person? lol

Actually I used to think about this a lot because I was introduced to existentialism by a guy back in hs.
Anyway, try reading Jean Paul Satre, he is a big existentialist writer, but I have to tell you, that after reading a bunch of their genre, I found myself very depressed and I read that a lot of these writers were depressed or suicidal, so I wouldn't read to many of them if I were you. The play "Eight Nails", Huit Clos in French, is a Satre play, where his premise was that hell is other people. It's about 4 people who can't stand each other and they a put in one room together for eternity and that is hell for each of them.

On a complete different twist on this try reading some quatum psychics books. These were very interesting because they present that there are many layers of reality side by side.
After reading many books, I also found that the characters in many books were "more real" than many "real people" so I said that they "igist" as opposed to "exist" as they are some how in another dimension.
Also what if people that have very cardboard sort of uneventful lives really do exist less than others do they "ezist" as opposed to exist. As in does the person who is more fully alive and self aware exist on many of these different planes while the person who just goes through a menial life day by day have something on only one plane of reality? Or would they be like people going through the same motions on different planes of reality while the self aware person is actually effecting changes on mulitiple layers of reality.
All the worlds indeed a stage, we are merely players.

I think that we both think too much.
And now I've given you even more to think about. lol

hmm i think its pretty common to wonder that at some time in your life; certainly it isn't abnormal if you're a teenager. some philosophers took a pretty keen interest in the idea... if you want to look into it try reading 'Being and Nothingness' by Jean-Paul Sartre, although don't feel bad if you can't get all the way through, i never have managed, very wordy. It's prefectly possible but not something that worries you when you build up really strong relationships with other people. Possibly you just feel disconnected from others.

Well, on Yahoo!Answers sometimes I feel like they are all Bots or A.I. programs providing the answers. And then all the Avatars look a lot alike which doesn't help. Usually, a good nights sleep helps to put things back into perspective. Maybe you need more sleep. And quit your worring. There is nothing you can do about it, whether it is real or not real. So, do not worry. Find something to make yourself happy and get on with keeping busy.

I'd answer you, but you'd think it was your own imagination that responded. To prove there is a force outside your own experience, I'd have to come up with something you'd never dream of

Entonces, te hablo en espanol a muestrar que si hay gente con distinctas entendiamentos que ti. Ademas, tu amor esta muy limitado. Solo atraves relaciones con otra amistades se peude crecer tu corazon.

(therefore, I'll speak to you in Spanish to demonstrate that, yes, there are people out there with different understandings than you. Also, your love is limited. Only through relationships with other friends can you grow your heart.)

Yes, and when you die, you come back as a different person. In fact there is only one soul and you come back and live every single life over. So when you hurt someone you are only hurting your self. So you reincarnated into a different life but not the one you already have been in. So here is a clue. Next time you 'jump' leave a clue for yourself. The trick is to find the clues you left for yourself.

nothing stupid or narcissistic in your idea...they are phantom images unless you focus on it, then they become alive...There is a concept that there is only one of us...we are all One...have you heard that? those images you see it is versions of YOU...He, sees it is versions of him and so on...Projection and reflection is an essence of Creation....impossible to believe , but there is a rational seed in it...just deliberate that....Love your neighbor like you love yourself...read it in contest of spoken above...there is no difference between neighbor, enemy, idiot, smart, rich pour for the one whom suppose to love... it is all us...and any each contains it all...you could be all of mentioned and many more...lets say for loved ones you are positive, for opposition you are negative...so love your enemies and you will not have an opposition only loved ones.for it is YOU. Love yourself is all about...There is another saying...We saw enemies and they was us...Very ancient wisdom...Play with this a little, see people they are you , but you which you do not know.just wonder what you can be.....then you will be introduced to the degree in which you love yourself

Well, just to add to the theory backlog here, I'll bring up the one that states that by observing something or someone we give it credence... therefore this question has brought your illusions to life.

Hmmm.... Then, why reason with them????......

Perhaps, it is you who are the phantom and the rest of the world is alive. After all, you are individual to yourself, born alone, and will die alone. Certainly, your understanding has not preceeded you in that you can reason within and come to the conclusion that the rest of the world has: "why am I here'?

Well, Betty Mae Boop,
You'll think that until you trip over the rest of us, or walk into the poles you didn't put up, and then you'll have to figure a new idea!
