Why do people freak out when a guy is wearing makeup? Is makeup exscluivly for women? I enjoy wearing makeup. I've had a makeover by 3 girls and it feels good. Wearing false eyelashes and mascara feels great. When you blink they feel so heavy. I enjoy alot of makeup. I feel like I'm expressing myself when wearing makeup. I might start wearing mascara, eyeliner, blue eyeshadow, hot pink lipstick with matching finger and toenail polish. Why only women wear makeup?

You're just an average cross-dresser, just another guy who enjoys dressing up like a girl. It might feel weird, but when you let a girl dress you up in her clothes because she wants to play with you, well you'll enjoy how it feels and want to dress-up as a girl again and again and again.

Rock on man. I were makeup as much as I can, and I understand were you are coming from. Society assigns traits and attributes to men and women, and when we brake from those traits, it causes social upheveal. People, for the most part, absolutley detest outliers of what they perceive to be the social norm.
I were makeup, because I am obsesses with image. Not in a vain sense, but I love the abilty to create an image with paint. When in the general public, people gather information from only one place, physical appearence and visage, so, in a manor, makeup is a fomr of public spoon feeding and image mastery. When you walk past a person on the street all you know about them is how they look, and if they are wearing makeup in a certain way, they may be more interesting, or even inspire feelings or emotions. Its one of the ultimate art forms....
So no, not ONLY women were makeup. And I most certainly dont freak out when guys do. I think guys in eyeliner are hot! I dont think I'll even date a guy that doesnt wear eyeliner lol.

The only reason why people freak out because guys wear makeup is because it's not normal. Honestly, I dont get it either. If a guy wants to wear makeup... let them wear makeup! But I think it's because alot of things today give men the kind of "laid back" look. And women have to look absolutely perfect. But do what you want. If you feel good about yourself wearing makeup then keep on wearing makeup.

As a guy who occasionally wears makeup (mostly when my fiancee does it for me) I understand what you feel. I think most of the reason people freak out is either homophobia (because they can't think that a guy might be straight and wear makeup), or just fear of anything so different and radical. I enjoy wearing makeup, but I avoid wearing it usually, just because of the reactions it causes in others. Really its your own choice, unfortunately the majority of people will not understand your choice. If you're ok with that than go ahead. If you're in the business world though, it could cost you a lot (your promotion, etc) so think carefully about how it could affect you.

I think that it is perfectly fine for a guy to wear makeup. I totally believe in self expression.
A lot of guys are wearing eyeliner and you youngsters don't think you are starting some new trend. A boyfriend of mine wore eyeliner and that was more than 20 years ago.
I think that using powder and lip balm can actually have some positive effects. The powder can help keep the oils absorbed, thus preventing breakouts and lip balm can keep the lips soft. Plus, when guys wear makeup they tend to wash their face more and that keeps the acne at bay.
Nonetheless, I say go for it! Express yourself!

personally, i think its great when guys wear makeup
no joke.
everyone makes such a huge deal out of it.
some of my guy friends wear makeup. most of the time just eyeliner though.
but they do it really good and its looks great.
i'm sure that if u practice alot and know how to do all of that, you'll look great.
the whole, blue eyeshadow, hot pink lipstick stuff?

a guy wearing eyeliner...that's hot...a guy wearing make up is really cool to me but for some reason wearing nail polish is a little weird...it's not my thing,but I'm sure that there's someone who likes it.I think that the reason people don't like it is because if a girl wears make-up,she's pretty,butif a boy wears make-up,he's gay.is this true for you?if not then I would suggest just eyeliner,and be really careful with the make-up,remember,the first step to beauty is being natural.

most people freak because its not a manly thing 2 do but when guys wear makeup its pretty hawt i mean if u go into a store there r a couple of products 4 men.

Men who wear makeup are cool. Expressing yourself is the best way to get out and if someone doesn't like. They can shove off!

Maybe he just covers blemishes with it when he needs to. Thats not a big deal. It would be kind of weird if he wore foundation all the time...doesn't mean he's gay necessarily.
