if infinity and infinite possibilities truly exist and are more that just perspectives, than wouldnt that mean that you could never lead a good or bad life, b/c if there are infinite possibilites ( these possibilites i mention are more or less the different lives you could have in different dimesions etc) then there are always infinitely better and worse lives than the one you have.

so everybody is doomed to a run of the mill life which will end and they will be forgotten and all existence is meaningless....in short

thoughts?

Just because there are infinite choices, some are better than others. You can lead a good life if you choose better things, and a "bad" life if your choices are unwise.

And since I only know about my existence on Earth, here and now, I cannot say if life is meaningless, as I do not yet know what or if anything lies ahead.

As for run of the mill, that is a perspective.

life does have infinite choices, until you make a choice, and then a whole set of new choices pop up. And who you've decided to be, good or bad, guides you through to the next choice. After some experience, you begin to realize that the good or bad choices you are faced with are of your own creation. If it's run of the mill you've got, then make a new choice. If you feel it's meaningless, you may be a bit depressed or overstressed. Deal with the issue, and that run of the mill feeling will dissipate.

Quantum theories have at their core an assumption than all things exist in all possible states at all times. All of these states exist simultaneously in a kind of time-space layer cake. Every possible self is present with every possible quality or life path.
Even if this is true it doesn't negate the fact that in whichever state we exist it is incumbent on us to live the life we are given.
The path to an unfulfilled life is timidity of mind, everyone is forgotten eventually but that is no excuse for living the life one is given without passion.
