start with a new engine that has forged pistons a crank girdle and studs screwed into the block for the heads to stay on.. make sure u have 8 to 1 compression ratio. when you get that done, rebuild your tranny to handle the increase in torque, and have custom driveshafts made to handle the power. oh, after that, count the money you just spent and see if it will but you a real fast car like a new mustang. or just go get the mustang now..

With the car itself being automatic, the turbo would be pretty much no more than eye candy under the hood. Turbo's work on RPM exhaust gases, and spp\ools up and releases due to the RPM's. since your car is automatic it will shift before the turbo can spool up and release not really giving you ant more power than you started with. But, to answer the question, there is more than just putting a turbo on the car and going. Your car is a V-6, which has exhaust manifolds on both sides. the turbo would bolt to these. Your best bet is to get dual turbos, one for each side. You will have to get custom manifolds made, around $2,000. Then you will need an intercooler, and piping made around $2,000. then your complete fuel system will have to be upgraded, fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel lines around $1,500. After that the complete engine management will have to be reflashed or have a system to control it, $1,000-$2,000. Then of course you will need gaskets, couplers, oil lines for the turbos, wastegates, a boost timing master, blow off valves, and a exhaust makeover. Also you will probably need some internal work on the rods and pistons to lower the compression, and strengthen them to allow for the boost pressure. While it is true you can pretty much turbo anything the question is do I really want to spend $10,000 for a turbo on a $4,000 car?

You can do it but it really helps to know something about cars or you will run into trouble. Why? Because there's more to it than just putting on the turbo. For the money you'll spend cobbling all this together it might be cheaper to just buy a faster car. But if you've got the money to do it then I say go for it. Check this site out....
