VHS (Volkshochschule) is the cheapest.

Unfortunately, their new program doesn't seem to be out yet.

I live in a town not far from Ulm. Ulm is in southern Germany, actually quite a distance from Frankfurt. It's a nice city.

The Volkshochschule would be the best place to take some German lessons. They will have classes starting in September or October.

You can email me if you would like some more information about Ulm.

Ulm is not near Frankfurt/M. Frankfurt/M. is in the state Hessen and Ulm is at the south near Nuremberg state Bayern.
By the way there is another Frankfurt at the East side from Germany this one is Frankfurt/Oder.
Ulm is not a little town, is a big city. You can learn German in the Volkshochschule (VHS) and look at the web and get some more info about ULM www.ulm.de.
Good Luck and have fun in Ulm.

The university in ulm also might have lessons in German for you. Plus if you are a migrant worker you might be entitled to (or be called up to participate in) a "Integrationskurs". The local ARGE or the Ausländerbehörde in Ulm should have info's about that.
