okay well i have always been really facinated by the bermuda triangle and all the mystery behind it but i just am curious about what people think/know about this...i have watched a lot of programs on t.v. and excuse me if my facts aren't completely correct but im no expert... well there are a lot of different explanations for the disappearances of all the aircrafts and surface vessels there are things like extraterrestial beings, time warps to other deminsions, fields of methane which can stall the engine of aircrafts or cause bubbles which have been proven to sink ships, there are also things i have seen like trying to find the planes from flight 19 but they searched all over to find the planes under the ocean and found a few other planes but none that matched the ones from flight 19, anyways i have just always wondered what other people think about this and what anyone else knows any information you have or any opinions are appreciated greatly -thanks in advance... : )

I myself have been very interesyed in the topic too and from researching the topic, the most logical idea I have come up with was a gas. A underwater gas within the "triangle" comes up under ships and takes em down like a dam takes a log under. And the same thing with planes, during world war II most planes were open engine planes and when the gas came up and in the air it kill the engines and stalled them, but there is another logical reason: confusion, all of the little dots of islands in the area look the same to the untrained eye, which makes pilots fly off course and waste fuel.

Well I share the same fascination of that famous Bermuda Triangle. I remember the first time I watched a long show about it on the Discovery Channel. There they demonstrated the whole experiment of proving how air bubbles arising from the bottom of the ocean could could cause a ship to sink by just sucking it under, because buoyancy is lost when it's air instead of water. And then also, that methane gas which causes the bubbles, arises, and comes out of the water and into the atmosphere. The methane gas does weird stuff has some kind of reactions or something and causes weird clouds and plays with electrical fields (causing compasses to endlessly spin around) and even electricity to go out sometimes. I'm no scientist so I can't explain why.. but that's what methane gas seems to do in the atmosphere.

Everything I've seen and read indicate that it's not really a triangle anymore, because the Western side of the triangle extends all the way to the East Coast of Florida.

Scientists say that huge amounts of Methane Gases are being released from under the ocean on the Earth's Surface resulting in airplane engine failure due to lack of oxygen, making a rich mixture and stalling the engines.

Also the gases released are so massive that they can sink ships due to a bubble effect. These bubbles erupt from under the water, causing huge waves to smash into ships and swallow them up, causing them to sink, or even break in-two.

Its facinating because none of the information is accurate. My research on this topic reveals that it is not mystery or paranormal. Simply because, the number of supposed disappearances is relatively insignificant considering the number of ships and aircraft which pass through Bermuda Triangle on a regular basis.

I had heard that it had to do with the magnetic field being abnormal in this particular area.
