People feel that death has no mercy because they are not ready for death. They need to accept death as a part of life.

I just read all of the answers, and nobody really answered your question...but one did offer some good advice about preparing for your CERTAIN demise...mercy is something you get while you are still living.. and it's from God, attainable ONLY through the acceptance of God's provision for us at the greatest sacrifice ever made.. after death.. there is no mercy because you REJECTED that mercy... hard to handle innit?

death shapes who we are. if it had mercy then people would be hurt even more at the slightest thing. death isnt merciful for a reason. i hope that if you have lost someone you will feel better soon, and i hope that you bounce back and really feel better. death sucks but it also can strengthen who you are as a person.

Death is mercy.. the real question is why does LIFE have no mercy?

it does because we deserve death! Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from dying and going to hell and suffering 4ever in flames! Jesus said ,"I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father (God) but by me." death has mercy if you are saved...if u want to be saved just do the ABC's of getting saved...A-admit that you are a sinner-tell God that u have sinned and ask forgiveness for those things-B-believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later-C-confess to others that you have been saved! tell EVEY1 about Jesus!YAY!

"No mercy" is similar to "unrelenting". Death is the result when two unrelenting subjects come together. It is the zenith of the "no mercy" ideology.

Ask someone who has been slowly and painfully dying of cancer or some other disease if death is merciful or not.

you think it doesn't?

there was a girl who went sky diving, but her chute didn't open right. she ended up splatting the ground like a pancake...
and survived.
and, unbeknownst to her at the time, was pregnant, and the baby survived as well.

i was born four months premature, the doctors told my parents they were 100% certian i was going to die before the night was over, and obviously i survived.

a man, suffering from cancer eating away his (list random body part here) . is death not more merciful than living every day, in constant agony?
