I'm 14, and I have small, vissible veins in dime-size areas ( about 3 areas) on my legs, what is it?

I'm very athletic, I run every day, and I'm pretty tan...
one spot is on my upper thigh, the other spots are right above my knee, on my inner leg.
I'm not over weight at all.

It sounds like you have Spider Veins.
Spider veins can be caused by the backup of blood. Hormone changes, inherited factors, and exposure to the sun can also cause spider veins.
Spider Veins & Varicose Veins prevention are:
Exercising, losing weight, elevating your legs when resting and not crossing them when sitting can help keep varicose veins from getting worse. Wearing loose clothing and avoiding long periods of standing can also help. If varicose veins are painful or you don't like the way they look, your doctor may recommend procedures to remove them.

i have those stupid veins on my leg...i talked to my doc at my last visit and she said to get rid of them permanently we'd be talking surgery...i said um, no thank you. i've been using a self tanner lately and now i hardly see them (safer than getting a real tan).

i started noticing mine after my first waitressing gig, i was told it was from standing around a lot, so yeah if you run that be what causes it...keep in mind i'm no expert though.

some people just have more translucent skin than others, try getting a tan. also try being more active like running and riding bikes etc.
