See the chemo therapy drugs works on the phenomenon that cancer cells grow rapidly and hence kill all the rapidly growing cell alone and leave out the slow ones. In this way these drugs spare most of the human cells from its wrath and kill only the cancer cells. However unfortunately some human cells like our hair cells also grow very fast like that of a cancer cell and since they also grow very fast the chemo kills these fast growing human hair cells also and it means all the hair cells not only on the head but eyebrows, the beard , the hair in the armpits and the body and as well as the pubic ones. But one need not worry about this because they would start growing immediately once the chemo therapy is over and within six months the patient would get most of the hair back to shape.

Yes it is possible depending on the chemicals used. They do come back though within a couple of months of the chemo stopping.
