I have wanted to change things in my life and I know that what I'm about to say, takes this qstn and twists it into something very different, than the author of the qstn, had in mind:
They say that a simple flutter of a butterfly's wings, can set off a chain reaction of things that would be un-imaginary to the minds/imaginations, of most people. If you could change any part of what you did in the past- whether you regret it now or not, it would change your life probably in bigger ways than you could imagination. How you lived your life in the past, is what got you here now, to where you are today. If you think that you are worse off for the previous decisions you have made, then think for a moment of all that is good in your life now and realize some, most, or all of these things would not exist in your life, had you taken a different course.
We all want to go back in our lives and change something we regret and then have the expectation that we wouldn't be any different, but a simple changed decision, just like a flutter of a butterfly's wings, would have set off a chain reaction that you could not imagine... and the very person you are today would be different. We know where we are in life today- Would you be willing to give up ALL that you know and love today, for the chance that all or none of your known life, would come back to you, after going back in time and changing one or more decisions?
Now answer the qstn again- If you knew then, what you know now, what would you have done differently?

Hindsight is always going to seem better. I mean if we are going to go back why don't we start out at 3-4 years old. I should have graduated high school by the time I was eight, finished college by the time I was twelve and had three children by the time I was twenty. Sometimes we don't have the luxury of unlimited resources and sound advice at our finger tips. It is called living and taking chances. I would of course do hundreds of things over, but I can't and I will live out the rest of my life just trying to do the best that I can with in my means.

that would depend what part of the past your meaning. during my adolensence i would change a great deal. I would not get married right out of high school to someone that was 15 yrs & 1 wk older than me instead I would complete LPN(licensed practical nurse) degree then go into a speciality from there.

Finished college , not listened to my mother because at the age of 43 I realize she didn't always know best . I would have not married my first husband or my second either . I would of believed in myself more when no one else believed in me . I would of watched my weight and then I wouldn't be trying to lose the 20lbs I gained back from losing 90lbs. .

When I was a kid, the rules were different. It was a lot harder to get into any REAL trouble. If I had realized how unimportant my behavior was I would have loosened up and raised a lot of hell. I'd really have had fun with it.

I would have stayed and been more patient and waited for him. I love him so much, my life has just been a wreck without him, and knowing now he had feelings for me then, I kick my own butt every single day with the loss that I blame on myself.

as much as I would love to do something differently or not at all, I don't wish it.. I live my sorrow and my bad discissions because without them, I would not have my kids which a result of my choices. I wouldn't trade them for anything..They are my heart and my reason for breathing. I think God for them everyday and if that means not changing anything...so be it.
