Either the promo was over when you placed the order, you did not meet the requirements, or someone jacked up. Care should be able to tell you what happend and fix it. If they start acting up tell them to send you a return kit, they are obligated to a 14/30/60 day trial period, if you cancel within that time they can not charge you a early term fee.

usually weekend is free activation. if they charged you for free service you can get a credit. also check the bill, sometime they post the charge and place a credit on the same bill,.
Used to work for the company and they have a very hard bill to understand. the majority of the calls were billing. check it again. but they will give you credit towards next month.

ya call and complain and say u r thinking of switching and u dont care if u have to pay $150 de-activation if they dont want ur business then u will go somewhere else they will prob. give u ur money and the customer service number is 1800 822 0204 (i think)

it means what it says and no it is not a scam...are you kidding? :) It will take 1 to 2 billing cycles to reverse the activation charge, which is standard for any adjustment... i dont see where your not understanding. you basically answered your own question in your post.
