Why doesn't the media in the middle east care about american deaths?

Do you really believe that the media doesn't care about these things? However, it may be difficult to find people with a specific interest in covering certain types of stories. How long has the fighting been going on in Darfur, for example? How long has it taken to get any media attention of that? It usually takes somebody within some level of power to bring attention to any particular issue. Rather than asking why the media doesn't care about Muslim deaths, maybe you should be asking which journalists, and which networks, would care about such stories, and contact them and ask them to do some research and stories on these issues. Al Jazeera, a very well established media outlet in the Arab world, has been covering stories like this for years. Of course, they have also failed to cover stories of Muslim and/or Arab aggression towards Israel in a meaningful way. Every media outlet channel has its own bias. It is the job of the listener and viewer to be aware of this and to know what to take as gospel and what to take as mere media posturing.

Because the media is just a scorekeeper. They have not done any investigative research into the purpose for this insane 'war'. They simply read the government news releases, verbatim, because that's a lot more cost-efficient that sending investigative journalists to dig into the true reasons for this 'war'. We're in Iraq for OIL and WAR PROFITEERING - not to bring democracy to Iraq or peace to the Middle East. Bush doesn't give a tinker's damn about such lofty goals. It's all about the rich getting richer. -RKO- 06/24/07

Many muslim deaths are reported on TV news- both the bad guys and the good ones. How about if the good ones start going after the bad ones instead of being silent about the atrocities.
