If you live in the San Fransisco Bay Area, try Music Village. They have a store on Snell and Santa Teresa and another store on Union Avenue. They sell good drumsets and you can find cheap ones there.

i dont recomend buying a cheap one.
UNLESS
you know that you probably will quit
you can rent on at some music stores
or just got to a music store and ask for the cheapest one.
