Put them in your moms bathroom...buy tampons....they are small...fit in purse..... Hon... they either already have their periods or they will be getting them soon. If you have "friends" that snoop....and stress you out like this.....time to get new friends. Good luck

Well first why do you have to hide the pads from your friends??? This might open up a whole new conversation mode for you all. This is normal and natural phase of a young girls life, if you open up maybe they will too.

If you still think you need to hide them, all pads come in little bags, some are thinner then others so buy those, and put a few in your purse. They will think it's a note pad.

If your friends do find them, just say it a pad. I don't want to get caught without one. Trust me most girls are jealous of the ones that get it first

Carry a purse with you. They're your gal pals, if they find a pad, they'll understand. If you're really that concerned get a lock for the back pocket of your purse. OR make a secret pocket in your purse. There are usually two layers on the bottom of cotton purses, go to the very edge where the bottom of the purse meets the edge and cut it just big enough for a pad and maybe some wet wipes.

Well, pads usually come in a wrapper and will fit in your purse or backpack inside a zipper case- your pencil case should work. And there is no reason to be embarassed should your "friends" find them. Tell them simply that it's a pad, in case they can't recognize it, and so what. You go snooping, you find what you find. You handle it like that, the embarassment is all on them. Just act as if it's matter of fact, and you aren't going to take any childish nonsense about it, and you likely won't get any. In time they will also join you in the need to carry a pad, they may as well get used to the idea now. Just remind them that paybacks can happen if they chose to try to embarass you in public.

If you have a wallet with secret compartments, that always worked with me. My friends always "went thru" my stuff, and sometimes boys would grab our purses so they could "look" at our girly things inside...This way, nothing is in the zippered part, nothing is inside of an extra "conatiner of any kind in your purse. Usually they don't go through wallets, and most have "secret" compartments big enough to hold two or three of the thinner brands with wings. By the way, when you get them always get them with wings, they are the BEST!!

consider getting tampons, they are so much better than pads and less messy. Try the tampax compact ones, you can carry them in your hand to the bathroom without being seen at school.

Applaud yourself as you have entered womanhood. I was so excited to get my period - it's a rite of passage. You should be happy and proud. You should let your friends know and they will ask for advice. BE PROUD! It's part of being a woman!!!!!!!

You don't need to hind. It's showing that you are growing up. Every girl will have it one day. Why do you need to hind? It's not right for anybody to search and look through your personal belonging anyway. Don't let them do that to you. They intrude your privacy.

I don't know how to help you on hiding them, but I understand how you feel.

At your age, it is embarrassing and you want to keep it private. That is how my daughter was when she started at 10 years old...in 4th grade.
