By baby I mean two month etc.

I've read a lot of people do it!

Would you let your baby sleep in your bed with you?

I personally would be too scared to let them in bed with me.

No and not because of the smothering issue. It is a bad habit to start. Yes a lot of people do it and they have a problem getting them to sleep in their own bed. My sister has a 9 year old and a 3 year old that both still sleep with her. The 9 year old wont sleep in her own bed anymore.

My son slept in our mattress from the time he got here living house from the well being center until eventually he grow to be 3 months previous. He in simple terms necessary a splash beyond time-honored time the place he had the convenience and secure practices of yet another man or woman, and after that, he grow to be waiting to bypass into his very own crib. in simple terms before 3 months, he could scream the 2nd you tried to place him in his crib, and have faith me--we tried each and every thing! I by no potential apprehensive approximately rolling over onto him because of the fact i'm a distinctly easy sleeper, and we've been smart approximately it. If my husband wanted to have a pair of beverages one nighttime, he did no longer sleep interior the mattress with us. the newborn grow to be located interior the middle of the mattress, faraway from partitions and headboards. EDIT (reaction to OP, who published "I understand that there is easy sleepers, yet are not you nonetheless fearful of that sooner or later once you're over drained and you do no longer awaken? And does that propose you sleep without pillows or something? because of the fact it fairly is undesirable for infants to have something yet an business enterprise mattress. it may desire to hold approximately SIDS.") i urge you to do your analyze. back, extra infants die from SIDS on my own of their cribs than they do cosleeping with their mothers and fathers. The injuries you do hear approximately the place a new child coslept together with his mothers and fathers many times contain alcohol and/or drug intake, or they contain a new child being wedged between the mattress and a wall. infants die in crib injuries each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, too. .

My daughter slept with us when she was a baby. It was so much easier that way. We had no problem whatsoever getting her to sleep in her own bed. She's now almost 3 and doesn't have any problems with it.

I don't have any children - but I would let my baby sleep with me if she was over 18 years old! And, NOT my child or other relationship! What are YOU thinking?

No, I'm a big guy and I'd be scared to death of it too.

And older kids... once in while (very rarely) when my kids were scared to death of a lightning storm or a boogey man, but usually just sat by their bed til they went to sleep

Peace

You would be surprised what happens to you when you have a baby and the aliens take over your mind!!
Seriously my son slept with me on my stomach like a little seal pup.
I liked the comfort of knowing he was right there and I could hear his breathing.
I would do it again,,,,he moved on when it was time.(10) lol just kidding people don't freak out!!
