Instate of leaf, this tree covered by cottons...
Any idea what this tree called ?

Did you notice if the trunk had spiny bumps on it? I think it is a Kapok Tree. Kapoks will lose their leaves in the dry season. When this happens, large pods on the tree open and are filled with a lot of cottony puffs. Then it will regrow leaves and sprout beautiful orange flowers. It grows in sub-tropical locations like Singapore.

Yeah, one sick tree. Maybe cottony aphid, maybe woolie adellgid, maybe many insects we in the U.S. don't suffer from. But one thing is clear, the tree is NOT NORMAL it is sick!
