Alright, well, I saw somebody else do this and I thought it was a good idea. I'm around 5 foot 1 and weight like 97-98 pounds. I'm sorta athletic I guess. So, am I fat or not? If this weight isn't good please tell me what I should weigh. Thanks a bunch in advance!

Hey guys, thanks for all of you who answered NICELY. Oh, and the person who called me chubster, thanks for the insult, you are SO not gonna be my best answer. No, I'm not anoerixic or beliemic. The only reason I wanted to know is because I was curious. So all y'all who either say I'm too fat or to thin, SHUT UP. I'm pretty confortable with my body and my self esteem is high, I just wanted to know some other opinions. So, unless you have something nice or useful to say, shut the h*ll up. Thanks, and good bye.

I would consider you to be about perfect weight for your height.A lot of people said that you are too thin but babe let me tell you, I'm 5'7" and only weigh 110 pounds. Many people think I have an eating disorder but I eat all the time and no, I don't throw it all back up. lol But most importantly, don't ever let someone tell you that you are too big or too thin; it's all about being happy, not perfect.=]

Hi there. I believe you are underweight, but not by much. You could gain 10 pounds and still be tiny. I have no idea what would make you think you are fat. It's good though - that you're athletic I mean. It's great to be healthy, but don't obsess about it or you could get very sick. BMI calculators are very helpful, also. BMI stands for Body Mass Index. They ask your age, height, and weight and then calculate if your underweight, overweight, or just right. You can google them and find a bunch of different sites that offer them. Here is the link to one

Also, like one of the previous answers, what the media defines as skinny is far from what's seriously, physically possible.

So shut off the TV, drop the bar-bell, and pick up the chicken wing! Lol - good luck with everything.

omg are you ******* kidding me ??? take a look in a mirror why don't you and then again ask your self that, not to mention seek serious professional help because ultimatly in the end if you believe that being 97-98lbs is "fat" then put down those tabloid magazines talking about Nicole Richie, other wise you will end up with a serious eatting disorder and trust me you will have alot more to ***** about (and with good reason) than "am I fat at 97 lbs?" And start focusing on real issues than work on these attention grabbing schemes ( which I see as to why you would ask something like this) but most importantly grow up! damn

A doctor once told me this general rule for women's weight -- a 5 foot woman should weigh about 100 pounds, and for every inch of height you add 5 pounds. So, at your height you could weigh 105 and still be a perfect weight. You certainly don't need to lose any weight!!

A healthy weight would be around 105, so if anything you are underweight. The only thing you need to be working on is self esteem. If you had any you wouldnt be asking if you were fat, you would be accepting yourself and being happy with who you are.

What do you think, sweetie. Here, this will make you feel better...I'm around 5 foot 7 and weigh like 180 pounds. I have had three kids, all by c-section. I could single handedly control teen pregnancy with one glance of my body. So, do you feel better now or not? I think your weight is perfect...why don't you worry about something else tonight.

Being fat isn't about how much you weigh. I know some people who don't weigh much yet I would call them fat and then I know some people who weigh alot and I wouldn't say they're fat and vice versa. Being light means that you're not overweight but whether or not you're over fat depends on your body fat percentage.

dont listen to the guy who said for u to loose 5-10 lbs, that is reallly tiny, he is probably a teenager who hasnt developed yet. because most guys weigh like 150-170 or more, your 5'1 so your a small girl i would say 105 would be a good weight i dont know how you look now, but i bet you are really tiny. nicole ritchie weighs like 90 lbs, do you really want to be skin and bones? you want to look healthy, like paris.

According to a BMI Calculator, you are at an ideal weight. Since you are a bit athletic, it makes it difficult to gain any weight! I wouldn't worry about how much you weigh, just eat healthy and stay active.

Crap no. Unhealthy? Yes. Gain some weight. It sounds like it's perfect though. Under 10% body fat is dangerous and you'll probably die. Don't worry about it. I mean, don't worry about your weight. Just eat healthy and don't worry too much about the fat as long as it's healthy.
Everyone's body is different.
