Okay, well here are some tips that might/might not work. Usually it works, but I guess it depends on the person.
Try chewing cinnamon, or red hot gum. Anything hot. It wasn't exactly proven, but some doctors say that those kinds of gums help you remember things.
Second of all, don't over do it. If you do, that raises the risk of you forgetting things.
Three, believe in yourself.
For breakfast, eat fruits, eggs, and orange juice. Not the best, but great for tests.

Mix granola, yogurt, and fruit for breakfast. It is amazing especially if it's not a meal you eat everyday. Fills you up fast especially when eaten with Orange or Apple Juice as a drink. Energizes you.
Make quick flash cards even if you're just using them for the morning, they will work better than nothing and write each question and answer down five times slowly to get it in your memory. Write out on the flash card how you think the question will be worded on the test and then test your answers. Math is the easiest to remember though.

trust yourself for one.
I find it very important to get there early and cram when I'm at my desk instead of talking to friends and stuff.
I study before hand too. If I find something I don't understand I ask others their opinions.
I break things down into groups. I remember how many parts the groups have and it helps me logically.
I don't eat until I'm done.
not eating raises your awarness level since your body is going into "an emergancy state" and is trying its best to survive and find food. That forces your senses and logic to act faster in order to hunt smartly. It keeps your mind on its toes. BUT you must stay hydrated. good ol H2O
if your stomach is screaming at you to eat, I eat some peanuts, but not a lot. protein goes a long way.
