If it's really big and has wet and dry rides I'd say 6 to 7 hours

It would depend on the amusement park for sure. I am in Florida and if I were to go to one of the Disney theme parks I spend the entire day and still don't get to see everything. A standard amusement park or fair might be 6 hours or so depending on how big and how fun.

All day for me. We got to Disneyland at 12 PM and stayed until closing at 12 AM. If I would have come earlier I still would have stayed. I mean, the parks cost so much money to enter, you should just milk out all you can from it. Another reason to stay is that at night about half the people in the park leave and many rides can become walk-ons!

Depends on the theme park and how busy it is - plus how much there is to do there.
When I have been to theme parks I am generally there from opening to not long before close. If its something like Disneyland, or Universal Orlando, I was there for multiple days cause they have 2 parks in 1 just to make the most of it.
