Pine is a temperate wood. Not that many conifers are in the brazilian rainforest. Your table was possibly milled from imported canadian raw lumber.

If it is pine I don't think so. I would guess that it was made from imported wood and fabricated in Brazil because working cost is lower in Brazil. Or the company there is a successful producer which managed to enter internation markets. Pines are no rainforest trees and I believe you don't have to worry in that case.

You don't get pine trees growing naturally in rain forests.

There are a few species that can be grown in "almost" rain forest climates but they are farmed not naturally occuring there (but what was there before they planted?)
