Morality is not a genetic trait and I defy anyone to name the genes involved in such a process. Yet, people will argue this.
From infancy, we are bombarded with various messages and consequences of what is right and what is wrong. The study of feral children is an example of how the "born that way" argument is false.
Any studies of feral children have required the socialization of those children -- which includes teaching "right" and "wrong".
However, due to confirmation bias, most people are unwilling to look at evidence that disputes their own beliefs.

That is a REALLY good question. Let me think...
I believe that we develop a sense of right and wrong. I mean of course our parents and our environment and perhaps the biggest, our religion determines what SHOULD be perceived as right and wrong but we ourselves have a moral conscience that I believe we are born with that gives us the power to conform/disregard such social norms. When one is able to decide for oneself what their own definition of right and wrong is and is able to rise above such norms, that is what I call an intellectual.

We learn right from wrong as children from our parents, older siblings, teachers, and significant others such as grandparents, who may have participated in our upbringing.
So no, we are not "born with a definition of right and wrong."

That depends on what you mean by definition. If you mean, are we born fully formed then the ansewer is no!We learn right from wrong by observation and experiance(I hope!)Why do you think your mother rolls her eyes when you've performed a particularly spectacular no-no?

Morality is learned. Children who have had good guidance are well-behaved and grow up to be worth something. Those who have had none are little hellions who grow up to be menaces to society. We're animals. We can grasp way more than any other, but we still have to be trained to behave in an acceptable way.
