Do you remember her from years ago. I think she is the one who Billy Bob's blood in a vial around her neck and other odd and eccentric behaviours.
I think its difficult for anyone to be considered an intellectual without considerable formal education. I see her as more of a tragic figure. A series of failed relationships over the course of her lifetime -- now on a quest to save the children of the world.
Her international work is not that of an intellectual but that of someone who feels guilty with an extraordinary amount of success. Helping others alleviates the guilt of having.
I did catch a recent interview of her recently. She said nothing to leave me with the impression that she is an intellectual.
I consider actresses like Jodie Foster and Sharon Stone intellectuals based on their academic performance.

She is very smart, has all the credentials, graduated from a top school.
Nobody quotes her on subjects like they do Angelina.
Sorry. Angelina may or may not be bright. We only see what her publicist puts out there for quotes.
