All depends on what you mean by end ... if you mean the destruction of the planet, probably and asteroid. Go on Google Video and look for Last Days on Earth ... think that's what it's called. It is a well made documentary on the different ways the earth could end.
If you mean the end of civilization as we know it, that will be more interesting. I have followed world affair for decades and I think that within the next ten years we will fall to fighting China and theocratic Islamic dictatorships with NBC warfare ... not the TV stating ... the military uses this term for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical weapons. With this type of chaos comes disease, genocide, starvation, looting on a massive scale, etc. Democracy will be a thing of the past.
In the near future you will see the US weaken as China continues to build up unchecked. The Democratic Congress has already frozen funding for updating our nuclear arsenal. With a Democratic president probably on the way I'm sure our enemies are dancing with joy. China will easily match the US in a decade as the Democrats dismantle our ability to defend ourselves. By the time the country realizes we are about to fall we will use weapons of mass destruction ... that's where having a weak military leaves us ... with few alternatives.
maybe the Mayans were on to something. The date 2012 indicates the end of a period of time on their calendar ... indicating some huge changes ... funny how that coincides with the end of Hillary's first term.
I have kids, so I keep those opinion to myself.

I doubt it would be god... because there are like 50 of them and I'm sure they could not agree on a proper ending. That said, I'm pretty sure humankind will take care of the problem of life as we know it.
One day a mad person will come into power and we will believe in that person, like we always do. Then this person that everyone follows will pick a fight with someone s/he completely underestimates. The germ warefare will fly... then we'll all die :(
Sad, but more likely than god or aliens...

global warming is goin to end us. but being specifically, maybe a giganitc HEAT wave that can be as massive as the ICE AGE. something like THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. all of that stuff happening at once.

I think locusts, more commonly known as politicians. I think Dave Barry summed it up like this:

tics = blood suckers
I think that politicians will distroy our world.
