Spend a few days here ( in YahooPolitics ) and my question will make better sense to you.

Actually, I have been visiting the politics section less frequently because there really is little of substance or worth in this forum. This has become a site for hateful, reflexive rants and diatribes. Thoughtful and insightful answers and questions seem to have no place here anymore. It really is rather sad. I will seek reasonable discourse with real, live individuals instead.

I do not assume I know what is in their heart. I do not know what you consider inflammatory, as compared with what I might consider inflammatory. I see no reason for why one of us should be more qualified than the other to judge. I wonder why we cannot just over-look that which offends, and be willing to learn from the perspectives of others. At least be willing to have our own point of view challenged. I wonder why this is so offensive to some people?

Yahoo! Answers mostly disappoints me. Questions are just stimuli for a series of knee-jerk reactions, a reason just to talk. A soap box. It could have been pretty cool, but there's no fair way to filter the participants.

It's so addictive, though. I guess I like to stand on soap boxes, too.

If inflammatory and unsubstaniated answers are the criteria for being a troll over half the users here are a troll.

Sometimes I think they're funny. But then you have someone like Vegaswoman who answered a question about the validity of Ron Paul's foreign policy observations with a personal attack on the asker:

"No he is not you scamp."

I think she and others like her are what make this forum less appealing and damage the country with their divisive, dismissive views.

I've learned not to let it get to me. If they respond to one of my questions, I will generally point them out and give a reason as to why.

What really ticks me off are the people who ask loaded questions about "lieberals", you answer them and you debunk what they say, they put you on their block lists, and then continue asking loaded questions.
