I know this is a stupid ? but someone just tried to tell me that with vista there are usb sticks that can add ram to your system is there any such thing? I understand about usb mem sticks, but just in case im missing something?

It is true that you can use USB "sticks" as RAM in Vista. Just like XP will use the hard drive for RAM. It is called "virtual memory".

Even though it can do it, it will really piss you off if you try to use it. It is super slow. Just buy more RAM, it is super cheap right now. Seriously...

There is no USB technology on the planet that can keep up with RAM speeds.

Yeah with Windows Vista, a USB flash drives can add more memory to your computer to boost the computer to start the computer faster. With Windows Vista it takes a while to start the computer due to the requirements of graphics card and recommended 2 gigabytes of memory.
