Could it be that you're not pronouncing, and therefore not spelling the word correctly?
It looks and sounds to me that it could be 'copulate'. If that's the word you're looking for it means 'to unite in intercourse'.
(Sorry if I'm off base with this answer.)

Another word ... 'compilate' is to collect and/or code as in putting together as a book.

Do you mean 'combobulate, in the sense of 'discombobulate' ?

to confuse or disconcert; upset; frustrate:

Combobulate by itself isn't a word, only the 'dis' form.

I think it means to confuse or maybe confound.
I'm not even sure it is a word. I just hear people say it. I have never seen it in print.

I think it means make a composition of random elements like when mixing sounds for ambient music.

"Compodulate" doesn't appear to be a word.
