It was awesome! I just wish more people would bring their kids there........the casual nudity and dancing (things kids will know anyway) just make it a more party atmosphere.....it would certainly help advance the tolerance in society

No, I'm sorry I don't live in or near Toronto. Although today was also the Chicago Pride parade and from what I heard it was terrific as usual.
I, sadly did not go as I woke up with the worste migraine headache that even the thought of turning on the shower this morning hurt.

(and no...it was not a hang over as I don't drink)

My father won't even let me go to the King William fair during Fiesta because of the parade. (Fiesta is a big festival in San Antonio and the King William fair is on the last morning of Fiesta week.) There's no chance for me until after I graduate because he would throw three kinds of fits if he knew. But I have always enjoyed parades and dancing, so I bet I would have enjoyed it if I could have gone!

i went to the one in Seattle. i went to queerfest I'm going to the parade in a couple weeks. I've been to drag shows and stuff bit this was my first pride and i loved it. it was the only place where i could be myself and not have to worry about what other people thought. where people looked at me because they wanted to get to know me, not because they wanted to be the **** out me, or something...u know? i didn't know that there were so many people who supported gays. it was amazing. it made me feel, for the first time, that i am not alone in this. then i thought about how many people there would be if every queer in the U.S. gathered in one area for pride, then i thought, "how the hell, do these people think that being gay is a phase?" i thought it was really cool and I'm thinking about doing the "dykes on bikes" next year. i cant wait. HAPPY GAY DAY :D
