Too many to choose.... If you are asking trio from the same team and era, here are my choices (for all-time):

I would say: QB: Joe Montana, RB: Roger Craig, WR: Jerry Rice, of the SF 49ers.

Honorable mention: QB: Troy Aikman, RB Emmitt Smith, WR Michael Irvin, of the Dallas Cowboys.

Some of my favorite trios to watch over the years are:

QB Dan Fouts, RB Chuck Muncie, and TE Kellen Winslow, Sr., of the 80's Chargers.

The best trio of today are:

QB Philip Rivers, RB LaDainian Tomlinson, TE Antonio Gates, of today's Chargers, which are very exciting to watch!

Honorable mention for trio of today:

QB Peyton Manning, WR Marvin Harrison, WR Reggie Wayne (I know I listed 2 WR's and no RB, but Edgerin James is gone, and Addai is good, but no "Edge", yet).

Manning Harrison and Wayne. Manning and Harrison have the most TDs for any QB/WR combo in history. Reggie Wayne only adds spice to the mix.

Jerry Rice and Joe Montana

Obviously one assumes Montana - Rice and for now I would say that is right.

But Manning to Harrison will take that soon if not already. Marvin is just as dominate as Rice and certainly makes the most unbelievable grabs all while sacrificing his body to do it.
