Plan your meals in advance, look at the ads to see what is on sale and stock up on things you use when you see them for a good price. Use coupons as much as possible, especially in combination with sale items. Cook enough to freeze some food for later.

If u live near a Trader Joe's then u would save aLOT. everything is so cheap there even without coupons.
other ways u can save is don't buy what u dont need and bring in your own bags to the store, most stores would give a 5 cent refund for each bag u bring in.

I'm not sure where you are in the country but Grocery Outlet and Win Co Foods provide great discounts in general on most/all products in their stores. Other than that: coupons, don't buy what you don't need, etc

Walmart at about 1 am because a lot of the meat is marked down, no traffic, you can take more time looking for the deals, and the very best thing is 25 cent donuts after 12 am!!!!

I save money by making a list, a budget and bringing a calculator to the grocer store. Make sure you stick to the list and add up what your getting as soon as you throw it in the cart. That way you are more aware of what you can and can't afford and you will stick to your budget.

I buy things like toilet paper, shampoo and cleaning supplies at Target when they are on sale and stock up instead of buying them when I run out. I buy in season produce at the store. It's cheaper and tastes better than out of season imports that get pricy.
