Hitler's main tactic was brute force and fear more than anything else. If his military force was acceptible under...hmm say a War on Jaywalking or what-have-you, would things have been different??

very good point Pilgrim, its good to see someone who knows a little more about the era. But obviously "we all" would be a reference to the offspring of the people that were deamed worthy to live.

Oh and BTW Nazis weren't the only Eugenist movement at the time, they were just the most aggressive.

We all wouldn't be here to speak German.

He wanted to eliminate everybody exept Aryans.

He was a Eugenist, he believed that for man to "evolve" to the next level, it was necessary to eliminate the "untermenschen" (lower men) from the genetic family of mankind so they wouldn't breed with the "ubermenschen" (superior men) and prolong the evolution process.

IF....
He would have kept his true intentions quiet,
He would have employed more tactics that didn't place most people at the end of a bayonet,
He would have waged war on something everyone feels is not acceptable, and
gave more money to foreign governments to influence how they behave, then yes we all would be speaking German right now.
and since anyone without blond hair and blue eyes would be pushing up daisies, "we all" would also be part of the Aryan race.

Kinda scarey if you think about it.

He did try to rule the world, I mean that was his ultimate goal. He failed. As did every great empire of history. You can only go so far before you hit a wall of opposition.

There is nothing wrong with striving to maintain dominance over others and yes, had Hitler used those sorts of tactics, he may lived to a ripe old age.

Hitlers plan was to exterminate all people who did not have blonde hair and blue eyes. He started with the Jews because that's who he hated the most but would have started baking others after them. I believe that any attempt to realize his goal would have been stopped, unfortunately many died because of the course of action he did take.

Ah, but Hitler's downfall ended up being the lack of faith, and inability to trust his own generals.

He was a frustrated wanna be architect who bordered on genius and basically went off of the deep end.

I have green eyes and dark hair, meaning, I wouldn't be here typing this, had he met his ultimate goal. :)

None of us, ethnically speaking, would even exist if Hitler controlled the world. Anyone who is not an "Aryan" would be sent to concentration camps and killed there

Yeah, because as history has shown, huge empires work REALLY well. -rolls eyes-

Let's see. Stalin had a similar regime with at least 5x as much land space as Nazi germany ever did. What happened to the Soviet union? Japanese empire? Rome? Persian empire? British empire? They all lasted so well to this day, right?
