Well, my favorite would have to be Dave Roberts steal in game four of the 2004 ALCS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEvepm86rDM), which jump-started the greatest choke in baseball history, possibly even sports history.
Bottom of the ninth, Sox down 4-3. Down three games to none in the series, there backs are to the wall. To make matters worse, the insurmountable Marino Rivera is entering the game. First batter up is Kevin Millar who, of all people, works a walk. Slow as molasses Millar is replaced at first by Roberts entering the game as a pinch runner. Everyone in the WORLD knows that Roberts is gonna try and steal. Does that stop him from trying? No. On the first pitch to the next batter, Bill Mueller, Roberts takes off for second and slides in under Jeter's glove! The next pitch Mueller knocks for a line drive base hit and the speedy Roberts comes around to score.
The rest, as they say, is history: Papi's 12th inning homer, another walk-off hit for the big man the next night, Schill's bloody sock, A-Rod showing off is karate moves (http://www.nychoke.com/images/a-rod%20slap.jpg), and of course the beatdown in the Bronx in game seven.
Great memories, and all because of that steal. I still get goosbumps watching it.

Best ever
To let the commissioner allow an all star game to end in a tie as the teams ran out of players. That is the best moment in sports and people pay to see this stuff.
