I looked at Virgin Mobile calling plans and they honestly don't have any mobile to mobile free calls. I know Sprint to Sprint calls are consider free mobile to mobile but not with Virgin Mobile.

They use the same network, but calls aren't free between them. Since Virgin Mobile is prepaid/pay-as-you-go, every minute you use costs. Same network, different companies.

No. They might run on the "same" network, but they're not the same "provider" and don't quality for free calls.
