Try 2 8800 GTX cards SLI, you can't SLI an 8800 and a 8500, that would cause a serious performance bottleneck, in fact it may not even work.

i dont know what your planning on doing whith that second option, but you cant have 2 different cards in the same pc,

if you want to do SLI then you need 2 of the same exact card.

go with option 1
