So, before you start self medicating, I would make an apt. with your doc. & make sure you have a Yeast Infection, since you never had one.

It is important that you go to a drug store to get a form of medication. While it may seem tempting to get the 1-day pack of monistat for example, it's important to remember that it will still take the full 7 days for it to heal. Most OBGYNs recommend that you get a 3-day or 7-day cream so that you are getting continual medication over the course of a few days.

Most of the medication boxes come with a form of internal cream and external cream. Just don't get them confused. (It's not hard, don't worry). If you don't start feeling relief within 3 days and complete relief within 7 days, you should find a doctor.

It's also important to wear more loose clothing "down there" and wear light colored, cotton underwear to create less irritation. Hope you feel better!

These are really common, dont panic. You need a pessary to treat the internal yeast AND a cream to relieve and treat the external itch. Go hand in hand. The pessary is most important though cause if you just go with cream it wont treat the infection where it is originating from.

You can go to your local drug store like wallgreens or cvs and get a monistat. Those get rid of it fast.
