the red sox are much better....the yankees are overrated from winning many championships before most people were born.....the red sox have been playing w/ the most heart and have had the best record in the mlb ever since the beginning of may.....
plus the red sox don't have a-rod....lol

Overall - Yankees, by far.
Amazing how Sux fans think they have the best history, NOT!!
4 the guy above me, the Yankees have won 4 world series in the past 20 years, and been to 6, the Red Sox have only been to 1.

I'm a die-hard New Yorker and a YANKEE fan.... I LOVE the rivalry between the Sox and the Yankees and look forward to watching these games every year---SO FAR, statistically, the Sox are ahead of the race, BUT never count the Yankees out till it's over...... maybe players get paid too much, maybe there is too much talk about steroid use, maybe egos get way too big, but summer and baseball is STILL the best game in town and it wouldn't be summer without the baseball...!!! (unless of course you don't LIKE baseball at all and then I would have to say---OH WELL).

The RED SOX!!!! I hope that now that the Yankees lost 2 of 3 to the lowly Giants and are 11.5 games behind, that the MYTH that they will rebound and win the division OR wild card is finally settled. Their pitching is pathetic, even Clemens (big mouth himself) and Mussina. The Yankees 'season is OVER, Dead, Finis!! And Red Sox Nation celebrates!!!

Historically I have to tip my cap to the Yankees. This season (which is all that really matters), Red Sox all the way, that's a no brainer.

i HATE the bosox!! i love my yanks...i'm a die hard yankees fan. we haven't won 26 world series for nothing. 27 in 07!! even if a team is down anything can happen!! schilling is injured for the bosox...not a major hit but it's pretty good..he's a good loud mouth pitcher...i'm not saying hes not good (i think he's a cheater and a loud mouth and his bloody sock was crap) but he is a good pitcher. they yankees were down 14.5 games a while ago then 7.5 now 11.5 soon hopefully only like 5.5 then we'll close the gap when it matters...a-rod and jeter are good clutch hitters with them anything is possible...but still it's only almost july a lot can still happen!! red sux can still slip...yanks can still gain it all depends....
