I volunteer at a center and the guy in charge of the volunteers seems nervous around me. He's nice to me and everything, but I just get the feeling he's not as comfortable around me as he is with some of the older volunteers. He hugs them and stuff, but he's more formal with me. He's happily married so I'm not interested in a romance or anything, just wondering why he acts differently around me. Do you think he maybe doesn't like me or thinks I'm weird or something?

I'd guess it is just the opposite. He may feel attracted to you, even though he's happily married, and the only way he can handle it is by being a little more distant and formal. Just be yourself and let him be himself.
I would just continue to respect him as your "boss" and a happily married man. And it'd good to know that there are still married men who take their vows seriously.

He's probably worried that if he showed you the same kind of affection he shows the older volunteers, somebody would think he's trying to be too friendly to the new girl. You don't say how old you are, but if you're a teen, especially a young teen, he might really be trying to avoid some kind of accusation.
Chapter 2. He may have had trouble with a young volunteer before and he doesn't want gossip of the same type of thing getting home to his wife.

He might think that you are way hott and has sexual urges that he can't act upon cause he is married.

i think he acts that way coz he was ashamed with you not the way that you are weird or something. it tells that he had a special fellings for you.
