What does Tin Roof Rusted mean from the song "Love Shack"?

Does lovin' really cause tin to rust? I think the song is describing a dwelling in the woods that was built in an unusually humid area. Its basically a song about what not to do when constructing a second home, especially in a heavily wooded area.

its a description of the shack, a little ol shack in the middle of the woods......glitter on the matress, glitter on the front door, glitter on the highway.......

its rusted from all the humidity from all the lovin inside the shack!
